SAUSAGE AND UP EGGS
A different take on morning breakfast. Having some sausage (Italian here) with your eggs adds a great flavor profile and is super simple to make. Start the day with only 1.2 net carbs per serving.
- Cast Iron Skillet
- 4 eggs
- 8 oz sausage,
- salt and pepper
- Cut the sausage into one inch pieces and place in cast iron skillet. On medium heat, brown both sides of the sausage.
- Remove the sausage and leave the juices from the sausage in the skillet. Add the eggs to the hot skillet.
- When eggs start to set, add the sausage on top of the eggs and cook until desired doneness of the eggs. Season to taste.
